The BIG Breakfast is Back! Save the Date – Friday 4th December 2026

After a year's break, one of Gibraltar's favourite festive fundraising traditions is making a welcome return. Chestertons is delighted to announce that the BIG Breakfast will be back on Friday 4th December 2026, with a new location and the same commitment to raising funds for GBC Open Day.

Since its launch in 2015, the Chestertons BIG Breakfast has grown from a modest initiative serving just 100 breakfast baps into a much loved annual event, bringing together businesses, volunteers and the wider community in support of local charities.

A Record Breaking Tradition

Our last BIG Breakfast in December 2024 was our most successful yet, raising an incredible £10,233 for GBC Open Day. That morning saw 1,845 pre-ordered breakfasts delivered to 80 locations across Gibraltar, alongside a further 286 breakfast baps freshly prepared and served to customers visiting us in Ocean Village. The achievement was made possible by the generosity of our sponsors, suppliers, volunteers and, of course, the hundreds of people who supported the event by buying a breakfast.

Although we took a break from the griddles in 2025, our fundraising commitment continued through the Chestertons BIG Donation initiative. Thanks to the generosity of Bitesize Brief readers and a contribution from Chestertons, a further £6,463.45 was raised for GBC Open Day.

A New Location, Same BIG Breakfast Spirit

This year's BIG Breakfast promises to bring back everything people love about the event, with a new location providing a fresh setting for this much loved community tradition.

We'll be serving up the familiar breakfast favourites, with the same enthusiasm, generosity and teamwork that have made the BIG Breakfast such a success over the years.

What hasn't changed is the spirit behind the BIG Breakfast. It's an opportunity for Gibraltar's community to come together, enjoy a hearty breakfast and help raise much needed funds for GBC Open Day, which supports a wide range of local charities and good causes.
