Chestertons Proudly Sponsors Successful Prostate Cancer Charity Dinner

Chestertons was delighted to sponsor a wonderful evening of fundraising in support of Prostate Cancer Gibraltar, held at Little Bay Restaurant on Thursday 15th October 2026.

The event brought together members of Gibraltar's community for an evening of excellent food, entertainment and generosity, raising awareness and vital funds to support the important work of the charity.

Guests enjoyed a delicious selection of healthy dishes prepared by the team at Little Bay, accompanied by live music from Johnny Cooper and Carmel, creating a warm and lively atmosphere throughout the evening.

An important highlight was a talk by the Minister for Health, Care and Business, Gemma Arias-Vasquez, who shared fascinating insights into groundbreaking developments in robotic surgery and the significant advances being made in prostate cancer treatment. Her presentation offered an encouraging glimpse into how innovative medical technology is improving treatment options and outcomes for patients in Gibraltar.

Among those attending were Sir Joe Bossano and Damon Bossino, while Joe Holliday, representing Prostate Cancer Gibraltar, addressed guests and spoke about the charity and its important work.

Fundraising was very much at the heart of the occasion, with a fantastic array of raffle prizes generating plenty of excitement and enthusiastic participation. Chestertons Director Mike Nicholls added a healthy dose of humour to proceedings with a hilarious and competitive game of Heads or Tails.

The evening culminated in a lively charity auction, with guests bidding generously in support of this worthy cause. Among the highlights was a stunning print by celebrated Gibraltar artist Christian Hook, which was successfully secured by Victory Suites.

The final amount raised is still being confirmed, but the evening was undoubtedly a tremendous success and a wonderful demonstration of Gibraltar's community spirit.

Chestertons is proud to support initiatives that make a meaningful contribution to our community. Our thanks and congratulations go to Prostate Cancer Gibraltar, the organisers, the team at Little Bay, everyone who donated prizes and, of course, all those who attended and gave so generously.
