Mike manages the Chestertons Gibraltar business, having previously been finance director of a Gibraltar based international property investment and development company.
Mike is a qualified chartered accountant (ex-KPMG) with over 25 years post qualification experience predominantly in the property, finance, funds and marketing sectors. Mike has significant experience of property related transactions, property development, offshore tax planning, the raising of both debt and equity, and corporate finance.
Mike also manages a real estate investment consultancy and acts as a non-executive director of a variety of Gibraltar based companies.
Mike is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, a member of the Gibraltar Society of Accountants, a director of and Hon. Treasurer of the Gibraltar Chamber of Commerce.
Mike is regularly consulted by the local media on Gibraltar property matters.
Director of Operations & Marketing
Lisa left the UK in 1999 with a background in Quality Management. After 4 years living in Gibraltar she moved to Spain where she became involved in property management and holiday rentals, successfully managing her own business for a number of years before moving back to Gibraltar. She first became involved in Chestertons with the design and production of the Chestertons Brochure, her involvement in the company grew and she joined the team full time in 2014.
Lisa uses her quality management experience to embed processes within the organisation in order to increase productivity and efficiency. She is also a key player in business strategy, co-ordinating the activities of the various departments to achieve organisational objectives. She is responsible for brand management and for delivering the company’s marketing strategy.
Outside of work Lisa enjoys travelling, reading, spending time with her family, does a spot of video editing and is not averse to the odd karaoke!
Tim has lived in Gibraltar since 1990, nearly all of which has been dedicated to property sales and services in Gibraltar and nearby Spain.
Tim heads up the sales division for Chestertons Gibraltar and takes care of residential property sales and rentals, as well as relocation services. During his time in Gibraltar he has relocated several major blue chip companies and has settled over 300 individuals and families both in Gibraltar and nearby Spain. He benefits from a wealth of experience covering all aspects of relocation and prides himself on sound local knowledge and excellence in customer service.
An avid sailor, Tim likes to spend as much time on the sea as possible and has been fortunate enough to have sailed to many destinations; Morocco, Portugal and the South of France to name a few. He has recently taken up golf, though would admit he is better at sea than on the fairway.
Senior Sales Negotiator
Michelle is responsible for all aspects of residential sales. She previously worked at Chestertons, in London, in both the Barnes and Battersea offices. The busy London market afforded her both sales and lettings experience. Previous to this she spent 7 years working for an independent estate agent, Hawes & Co, in their Wimbledon Park and New Malden offices.
She is delighted to return to Chestertons having left the UK to travel and see the world. Michelle’s travels took her as far afield as New Zealand and included adventures on glaciers and jumping out of planes. Eventually she settled on the Costa del Sol where she enjoys the climate and the Mediterranean lifestyle to the full.
Michelle’s professional background, prior to estate agency, was in the ‘Quality and Training’ divisions of both the Automobile Association and NHS.
Michelle is passionate about customer care and understands how important and significant a property purchase is in a person’s life. Her ethos is to understand, fulfil and, whenever possible, exceed her client’s expectations.
After spending every summer visiting family in Gibraltar, Louis decided to leave his home town of Chichester in 2010 and move to Gibraltar permanently.
Having previously worked in both hospitality and marketing Louis joined the Chestertons team in 2013 in a junior support role. During his time at Chestertons he has gained considerable knowledge of the local property market as well as substantial experience dealing with clients, this has attributed to his progression to Sales Negotiator. Louis demonstrates enthusiasm, drive and commitment to Chestertons clients, whether it be first time buyers, buy to let investors or high net worth individuals.
An estate agent by day, a local celebrity by night, Louis co-hosts the local TV show ‘The Hub’ on GBC, a fun programme covering local events of the week. He is also player/director of a local football team ‘Bruno’s Magpies’
Megan was born in Gibraltar and joined the real estate experience in 2012. She has accumulated a vast amount of knowledge on the local market and always has her ear to the ground in order to keep ahead.
Megan is part of our vibrant sales team and will always be ready to greet you with a smile. She has closed many deals and will go the extra mile to help out any of her clients. A fan of thinking outside of the box, Megan diligently searches the market until she can find you your ideal property. She has always worked with the public and has fine-tuned her customer service skills, ensuring that your experience is a pleasant one, be it buying or selling.
When she’s not serving clients, Megan enjoys spending time with her two children and taking a moment to relax! She aspires to make time to return to her childhood hobby of horse riding, although so far she has had no such luck!
Head of Lettings
Jacky was born in Gibraltar and has served the Gibraltar property market since 2005, prior to which she worked at Credit Suisse. Jacky joined Chestertons Gibraltar in 2008.
As head of the residential lettings division, she manages Chestertons portfolio of properties dealing with landlords and tenants on a daily basis. She advises a number of Chestertons buy-to-let clients with her vast experience of the rental market. She has excellent customer service skills and a wealth of local knowledge. Furthermore, with a background in property management and accounts she is well placed to assist and advise those considering entering the rental market.
In her free time Jacky likes to spend time with her family and is a keen baker with a talent for creating the most wonderful cupcakes!
After numerous holidays to Spain to visit her parents, Nicola decided to relocate permanently in March 2005 with her husband and son.
Before working at Chestertons, she dedicated her time to being a full time mother. Nicola joined the team in 2011 on a part time basis in administration before moving into accounting on a full time basis. She is responsible for all the financial aspects of the business from collecting the monthly rents to paying the general office expenditure. Nicola is very approachable and always on hand to help with any enquiry.
In her free time she loves to spend time with her family. She enjoys running and cycling and supports her husband & son watching Norwich City Football Club as well as being an avid supporter of the Chestertons sponsored football team, Bruno’s Magpies.
Assistant Property Manager
Josh joined Chestertons Gibraltar in the summer of 2016 after many years working in a busy London property management firm.
Josh brings with him a wealth of experience to the business, in resolving and effectively managing the many issues that arise in all areas of property management.
Outside of work, Josh turns from professional property manager into talented musician, playing a variety of instruments. He particularly enjoys spending time with his family and the odd bit of cooking when he gets the opportunity
EA to Mike Nicholls
Claire was born in Gibraltar but moved to the UK at an early age, returning to Gibraltar in 2008. She joined the Chestertons team in 2014.
It is said that behind every great Managing Director you’ll normally find a hard-working and efficient EA planning their life. As the first point of contact, Claire likes to maintain a strong professional and interpersonal relationship with clients and staff alike.
Claire is not only responsible for Mike’s day to day business life but she also supports the Chestertons team on the whole.
In her free time, Claire likes to spend time with family and friends and is an avid rugby supporter.
Sales & Lettings Co-ordinator
Cherrelle was born in the United Kingdom and moved to the Costa del Sol in 2013. She joined Chestertons in 2015 as sales and lettings coordinator.
Cherrelle is most likely the first person to meet and greet you whether by telephone, email or in person. Very personable, she sits at the front desk ensuring that all clients are promptly dealt with and introduced to the most appropriate member of the Chestertons staff. She coordinates viewings and listings ensuring at all times that clients are given a professional service.
In her free time Cherrelle likes to travel, pick lemons from her orchard and whip the sales team into shape.
