Chestertons sales director Tim Benson and David Frier of Capital Trustees are participating in the Great North Run in the UK on Sunday 11 September 2016. They are looking to raise as much money as they can for their chosen causes which are Children with Cancer UK and local lad Deklan Licudi, who is undergoing treatment for leukaemia at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Tim Benson commented that their recent ‘80’s Charity Night’ at Brunos, combined with a Virgin Money Just Giving Page, have already raised close to £2,000 with further monies pledged. A donation of £500 from Chestertons will see the pair surpass £2,500, well on the way to their target of £3,000.
Mike Nicholls Managing Director of Chestertons Gibraltar commented “We are happy to be supporting Tim and David and their chosen worthy charities and will be sure to be cheering them on Sunday 11th September. We wish them all the very best, especially David who will be running on his 50th birthday….Go David!”
The Great North Run will be shown on BBC1 and will be televised from 10.30 local time with the race starting at 10.40.
