On Saturday 6th October 2018, a team of Chestertons’ staff dusted off their walking gear and took part in the 5km walk in support of Cancer Research UK Gibraltar’s “Walk for Life” which started and ended at Casemates.

Chestertons’ CEO, Mike Nicholls, was delighted to present a cheque for £500 to Giovi Vinales (from Cancer Research) in support of their fund raising. “A few of us wanted to take part and after a whip round amongst staff the company was pleased to contribute the rest to make up the balance. It was an enjoyable walk and next year we hope to have even more staff involved and more money raised”.

Giovi Vinalis, who organised the event on behalf of the charity stated “We were delighted with the turnout generally and the total sum raised which is now approaching £10,000 thanks to our generous community. We are very grateful for Chestertons’ involvement and hopefully they will be back next year, along with lots more companies encouraging their staff too.”
