Chestertons will continue to open between 9am and 6pm during the social lockdown.
Employees attending their normal workplace remains permitted under the law and Chestertons remains committed to its clients to provide a service.
We have established a work rota in team bubbles to minimise interaction. Staff will continue to work from home when not in the office. However, accompanied viewings and market appraisals are not permitted as the applicant would not be out for work or exercise reasons.
We can however, undertake a virtual viewing by WhatsApp video or Facetime where an applicant so wishes and where the property is unoccupied.
We do not expect any visitors to our offices in Ocean Village unless by contractors seeking keys for repairs (hence a work reason) or there is a reason of “absolute necessity” which is permitted and may be for completing pre-existing property transactions (sale or rental) or seeking accommodation for new employees arriving into Gibraltar. Masks must be worn and we ask each visitor to sanitize on entry to our offices.
