After the first quarter of 2022 saw lower website usage statistics than the same quarter in the prior year, the second quarter has bounced back leaving the first half of this calendar year 9% above the first half last year in terms of number of users and 21% up in terms of number of sessions.  May 2022 set a new record for number of sessions and was our second best month for number of users.  We explain the first quarter reduction by the strong quarter in 2021 which was part of the Covid bounce back after lockdown. May, June and July 2022 all set new website user records for those particular months.

In these first six months, the location of our users were from 168 different countries, the top ten being: Gibraltar, Spain, UK, USA, Ireland, France, Portugal, Germany, Netherlands and Canada.

From Chestertons’ perspective, the current economic challenges have not impacted interest levels in Gibraltar property, indeed, demand remains solid.
