For 10 unforgettable years, it has been our immense privilege to stand beside FC Bruno’s Magpies, from the laughter of Bruno’s Bar beginnings through burgers at half‑time and match‑day programmes, to the roar of Rock Cup triumphs and the thrill of Europa Conference League nights. What started in 2013 as a pub club, lovingly nurtured by Mick Embleton and Louis Perry, grew into a pillar of Gibraltarian football, with Chestertons there every step of the way.

We remember with pride those early days in the Second Division: offering burgers and beers for fans, publishing match‑day programmes, and helping create a unique club atmosphere that made every matchday feel like a community celebration. As football in Gibraltar turned more competitive, the Magpies elevated their game, with Chestertons by their side, sponsoring on through the club's rise to Rock Cup glory, Pepe Reyes Cup success, and four European qualifications.

The future

Season 2024/25 marks the end of Chestertons’ direct sponsorship of the Magpies, a chapter we close with both nostalgia and pride. The club, now evolving into Calpe City Magpies in partnership with Calpe City FC, embarks on an exciting new era, and we couldn’t be more thrilled for its future.

To the players, the staff, the fans, and especially the founders, Mick and Louis, manger during the fun era Davie Wilson, manager of recent success Nathan Rooney and Haig Ouindijan who funded the Magpies from pub club to Europe, thank you for a journey filled with joy, passion, and shared ambition.

Though our sponsorship formally concludes, Chestertons remains steadfast in our commitment to Gibraltar’s community, charitable endeavours, sport, and youth. We remain proud to support local initiatives and will continue to invest in the dreams of this Rock in every way we can.
